The 4th Haiti Funders Conference: Haiti Now! is a gathering to explore how we can re-imagine philanthropy in Haiti to ensure that it contributes to fundamental change.

The recent civil unrest has highlighted the need for philanthropists to deepen their understanding of both the challenges facing the country and the opportunities to support sustainable, systemic change.  Haitians are frustrated by a lack of government leadership and accountability.  However, Haiti has dedicated community-based organizations, an engaged diaspora, and a young population committed to driving change.  To contribute to sustainable change, philanthropy must support local leaders and their efforts.

Join us as we reflect on the current state of affairs in Haiti and what it means for our work, and explore how to expand effective philanthropy in the country.  Unlike traditional conferences, Haiti Now! will be highly participatory.  We will emphasize making and doing over talking.

By connecting, sharing, and learning, we will reaffirm Haiti's promise and the transformative impact that smart philanthropy can have.
